How is our calculation based on?
It’s calculated based on the 2 hours for the number of trucks and the number of workers. For example, 1 truck and 2 workers – Labor + delivery (empty truck) fee in the first 2 hours (tips and parking tickets at the time for loading or unloading are not included), after 2 hours, half an hour is the minimum billing unit, calculated at half of the hourly price.
How is the first 2 hours based on?
The first 2 hours is based on the calculated hours start timing from the loading/unloading area (i.e. the pickup/dropoff points), for example from a condo loading area of the building. We start timing at the spot for any wait time even though the condo’s elevator is not available at the time.
Are there any items that you do not move?
We are not responsible for any missing valuable items or properties – currency, cryptos, precious metals, securities, gems, passbooks, antiques, important documents etc. Please bring them yourself. Pets such as cats, dogs, fish, and living animals, please bring them by yourself.
How long is the validity of the quotation last?
This quotation is based on the principle of first come first served and is valid for 3 days or taking into consideration the actual scheduled booking, whatever is sooner. Once the limit time window for no response to the email, phone or text message, a new quotation is required with the booking. The booking has to be confirmed with the Maple Time Moving management.
How do you calculate the hours of the workers?
The time starts from arriving at the designated location (for customers who want to use the elevator, it starts at the lobby/loading area of the building) until the checkout and payment are paid. Less than half an hour will be calculated as half an hour, and more than half an hour will be calculated as a full hour.
What method of payment do you accept?
Cash, EMT and, checks plus tax
What are the Oversize items?
Oversize items are not included in the Quotation. The charges are extra for upright piano, grand piano, massage chair, treadmill, refrigerator, stove, washing machine, marble countertop, large sofas (cabinets), large fish tank, electric mahjong machine, electric clothes dryer, large fitness equipment, machines etc., which cannot be disassembled and a single item that exceeds 100 pounds, an additional fee will be charged. Usually, ordinary upright pianos are $80/item (new and old homes, with 6 or less steps on both sides), and other $40/item. In addition, special cases not in the list will be handled separately.
How many addresses are included in my quotation?
The quotation includes new and old homes, 2 or less addresses. If you want to have more addresses, each additional address within 10 kilometers (the same address, each arrival is counted as a new address), an additional $10 fare, after 10 kilometers, an additional $5 for each 5 kilometers.
What is the responsibility to accompany as a passenger in our truck?
You can drive in your own car, if you want to get on, off or ride in our truck (whether you are the driver, the owner, the company, or others), whether there are any faults or tickets, you’d need to bear all the risks and responsibilities.

Due to differences in season, moving time, address location, or current market demand, the quotation on the website may not be updated in time.
